WOODLAND HILLS – Anthem Blue Cross today proudly named Seoul Medical Group (SMG), based in Los Angeles, CA, as one of only 19 national recipients in its inaugural Care Provider Recognition Program. Created in partnership with its affiliated health plans across the country, Anthem’s new program celebrates top performing independent and hospital-owned medical groups across the nation, recognizing those who deliver unparalleled patient care.
Seoul Medical Group was selected for recognition based on key health measures for care delivered to Anthem’s Medicare Advantage members. These metrics include preventive care screenings, immunization rates, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and several other health outcomes metrics. Fewer than 5% of care providers in Anthem’s Medicare Advantage network qualified for the Care Provider recognition Program.
