WE ARE SMG
Founded in 1993, Seoul Medical Group, SMG has grown to be one of the leading IPAs in the U.S.A. with community support and love. New SMG starting 2026 after integration with Korean American Medical Group, KAMG – the first Korean Physician group in California, established in 1989, we will continue to do our utmost to care for patients with dedication and excellence with our 5,500 primary care and specialty care physicians who treat you like family.
SMG serves patients in seven major regions in the U.S.A.; Los Angeles, Orange, and Santa Clara counties in California, Georgia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.

History
SEOUL MEDICAL GROUP is a network of independent practice associations (IPAs) that contracts with affiliated independent physicians and other practitioners to help deliver health care. SMG is not directly involved in the provision of medical treatment, and patients should always seek the advice of their physician or other qualified health care professionals with any questions they may have regarding a medical condition or treatment. SMG and all of its related bodies corporate as defined in the legislation.
