Patients interested in joining Seoul Medical Group should call the member services at (800) 611-9862 to learn more about choosing a Primary Care Physician (PCP) with Seoul Medical Group.

Choose a health plan, then contact your insurer to select Seoul Medical Group (SMG) as your medical group (IPA) and an SMG physician as your Primary Care Provider (PCP).
Already have a health plan
- Contact your insurance provider to confirm that your medical group is Seoul Medical Group (SMG) and that your Primary Care Provider (PCP) is an SMG-affiliated physician.

Select an SMG-affiliated PCP and inform your insurance provider of both the medical group (SMG) and the physician’s name.

Contact the physician’s clinic to confirm they accept your current health plan and SMG patients, then schedule your appointment.
Already have a PCP
- Confirm whether your PCP is affiliated with Seoul Medical Group (SMG).

If your medical group is not SMG, contact your insurance provider and request to keep your current PCP while changing your medical group (IPA) to SMG.

If your current PCP is not affiliated with SMG, you may change your PCP. In this case, consult your insurance agent for assistance.
No insurance or Medicare
- Contact the insurance plan you wish to enroll in and select Seoul Medical Group (SMG) as your medical group (IPA) and an SMG-affiliated Primary Care Provider (PCP).
- You may also get assistance from a licensed insurance agent.
- Enroll directly through the insurance plan or Medicare website (www.Medicare.gov), where you can choose your health plan, medical group (Seoul Medical Group), and PCP.
- You may also call the Seoul Medical Group Member Services Center directly for assistance.
Insurance Members Under Age 65
- Check if your health plan is affiliated with SMG; if not, contact your insurer to switch.
- If your plan does not work with SMG, call SMG for assistance.
- For employer plans, contact your benefits administrator for options and enrollment dates.
